With more than 35 years of experience, he has successfully handled thousands of personal injury cases throughout New York, recovering millions of dollars for his clients He began his career as an insurance adjuster handling personal injury claims before attending Brooklyn Law School and dedicating his career to representing injured plaintiffs.

MELISSA KLAFTER, ESQ.

‍Ms. Klafter leads the firm’s litigation department, bringing experience, compassion and tenacity to every case. She represents clients through all states of personal injury litigation, from investigation and discovery through depositions, motion practice and trial and has successfully advocated for clients in New York State Supreme Court and New York City Civil Court.

Before joining the family firm, Melissa practiced at a prominent plaintiff’s personal injury firm in Manhattan, where she managed Queens County litigation division and developed extensive experience in complex personal injury litigation, negotiation and courtroom advocacy.

Known for her meticulous preparation and hands-on approach, Melissa is a strong and compassionate voice for her clients, fighting tirelessly to ensure they are heard, respected and fully compensated for their injuries while guiding them through every stage of their case with professionalism, empathy and integrity.

‍Samara Klafter leads the firm’s settlement department, focusing on strategic negotiation and client advocacy. Her extensive knowledge of New York personal injury law, including bodily injury and no-fault claims, allows her to effectively navigate the insurance and settlement process from the initial claim through resolution. She approaches every case with careful attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring that each client receives both strong advocacy and personal attention throughout the process.

After graduating from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in 2019, Samara joined Klafter Law Group and quickly developed a particular strength in negotiation and settlement strategy, building a strong track record of achieving favorable resolutions for the firm’s clients.

Samara combines persistence, preparation, and a client-centered approach to negotiation, working tirelessly to obtain the best possible resolution for every client she represents.
